Kingoldrum is a parish, which lies in Angus Council Area, some 4 miles (6 km) northwest of Kirriemuir and 9 miles (14 km) northwest of Forfar in Angus.
It is located in the old county of Forfarshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 38.8 sq. km (15 sq. miles). Kingoldrum has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Airlie, Cortachy & Clova, Kirriemuir and Lintrathen. The boundaries of this parish were modified as a consequence of the Local Government (Scotland), 1894.
