Parish of Rosneath Rosneath is a coastal parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 4 miles (7 km) northwest of Helensburgh in Argyll and Bute and 6 miles (10 km) northwest of Greenock in Inverclyde.It is located in the old county of Dunbartonshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 34.7 sq. km (13.4 sq. miles).
