Parish of Dalgety Dalgety is a small coastal parish, which lies in Fife Council Area, some 4 miles (6 km) east of Dunfermline and 8 miles (14 km) southwest of Kirkcaldy in Fife.It is located in the old county of Fife, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 13.6 sq. km (5.2 sq. miles).
