Parish of Inverkeithing

Inverkeithing is a small coastal parish, which lies in Fife Council Area, some 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Dunfermline and 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Kirkcaldy in Fife.

It is located in the old county of Fife, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 11.8 sq. km (4.5 sq. miles). Inverkeithing has Dalgety and Dunfermline as its neighbouring parishes. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889 and again by the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1894.
