Parish of Strathblane

Strathblane is a parish, which lies in Stirling Council Area, some 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Clydebank in West Dunbartonshire and 8 miles (12 km) northwest of Kirkintilloch in East Dunbartonshire.

It is located in the old county of Stirlingshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 37.2 sq. km (14.3 sq. miles). Strathblane has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Baldernock, Campsie, Killearn and New Kilpatrick.
