Parish of Old Kilpatrick

Old Kilpatrick is a coastal parish, which lies in West Dunbartonshire Council Area, some 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire and 6 miles (10 km) north of Paisley in Renfrewshire.

It is located in the old county of Dunbartonshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 52 sq. km (20.1 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Clydebank. Old Kilpatrick has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Dumbarton, Killearn, New Kilpatrick and Renfrew.
