Parish of Livingston

Livingston is a parish, which lies in West Lothian Council Area, some 2 miles (4 km) west of Livingston and 3 miles (5 km) east of Bathgate in West Lothian.

It is located in the old county of West Lothian, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 21.7 sq. km (8.4 sq. miles). Livingston has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Bathgate, Ecclesmachan, Mid Calder, Uphall, West Calder and Whitburn.
