George Sneddon


1949 -

Championship bowler. Born in Winchburgh, Sneddon first represented his country in 1995. Living in Broxburn, he won a gold medal with Alex Marshall (b.1967) in the Men's Pairs Lawn Bowling Competition at the Commonwealth Games held in Manchester (2002).

Sneddon was Scottish Outdoors Singles Champion (1991) and Scottish Outdoor Triples Champion (1998). He won a gold medal in Pairs, a silver medal in the Team event and a bronze in the Fours at the World Outdoor Championship (2000).
