Bowler. Born in Edinburgh and living nearby in Ratho, Speirs plays at Kirkliston Bowling Club. He had success in the British Indoor Championships of 2012 and the US Open Championships of 2013 before winning a gold medal in the Fours at the Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls Centre during the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, playing alongside Alex Marshall (b.1967), David Peacock (b.1970) and Paul Foster (b.1973).
