Eilidh Barbour


1982 -

Sports presenter. Born in Dunkeld (Perth & Kinross), Barbour read film and media studies at the University of Stirling, graduating in 2005. She started her career in the sports department of Scottish Television (STV) and began presenting with STV Rugby in 2011-12. She joined the BBC's Final Score in 2016 and went on to present Football Focus and The Women's Football Show, both also for the BBC. Her work includes presenting the Women’s World Cup 2015, Euro 2016 and the Winter Olympics in South Korea (2018). In 2017, she took over from Hazel Irvine (b.1965) as the presenter of the BBC's golf coverage, including the US Masters (2018) and highlights of the Open Championship from Carnoustie in the same year.
