Bruce Mouat


1994 -

Curling champion. Born in Edinburgh, Mouat was educated at George Heriot's School, Edinburgh College and Edinburgh Napier University. He began curling when his father saw a newspaper article where the Gogar Park Club were appealing for junior members. Following a bronze medal at the World Junior Curling Championships in Tallinn (2015) and a gold the following year, Mouat formed a successful team with Grant Hardie (b. 1992), Bobby Lammie (b. 1997) and Hammy McMillan (b. 1992), with Ross Whyte (b. 1998) as alternate, that took gold medals at the European Curling Championships in Tallin (2018) and Lillehammer (2021). This team also gained silver medals at the World Men's Curling Championship (Calgary, 2021) and at the Beijing Winter Olympics (2022).

Mouat has also had mixed doubles success with Jenn Dodds (b. 1991), winning the World Championship in Aberdeen in 2021.
