A single-arch pack-horse bridge which crosses the Leithen Water on the northeastern edge of Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders, the Cuddy Bridge (or Cuddy Brig) is also known as the Old Bridge was built in 1701. Before the turnpike road opened to the south in the 1770s, this bridge provided the principal crossing of the river. Constructed in rubble under the supervision of the church to allow the free movement of parishioners, today it connects Leithen Road with the footpath network surrounding Pirn Hill.
It was once erroneously described as "the Roman bridge" and was a Scheduled Ancient Monument, but was de-scheduled in 1998. The Scottish Borders Council rebuilt the parapet in 2006, which was in danger of collapse, and was downgraded from B-listed to C-listed in 2008.
