A former railway station at Mawcarse in Orwell parish, Kinross-shire, Mawcarse Station opened in 1858 on the North British Railway's Inverkeithing & Perth Line, located 2¼ miles (3.5 km) east northeast of Milnathort. At the northeastern end of the station was a level-crossing, and beyond that Mawcarse Junction, which once led trains onto the single-track Fife & Kinross branch. The line to Kinross and Mawcarse Station closed in 1964 and the main-line in 1970, all victims of railway rationalisation.
