Easdale Island Folk Museum

The Easdale Folk Museum is located on the Island of Easdale, Argyll & Bute, which was a major centre of the former Scottish slate industry in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Museum occupies cottages which belonged to the quarriers and now houses a collection of photographs, records and artefacts relating to the industrial and social history of the islanders. The museum has won prizes for the quality of its displays.
