Coeffin Castle

Located on the island of Lismore in Argyll and Bute, the ruined remains of Coeffin Castle are situated on the island's northwest coast overlooking Loch Linnhe. Built in the 13th Century, possibly by the MacDougalls of Lorn, it stood on the site of a Viking fortress.
