Scottish Archery Centre

The Scottish Archery Centre is a modest commercial tourist attraction and activity centre at Fenton Barns, 1¼ miles (2 km) south of Dirleton in East Lothian. The centre was created in 1995 and offers archery tuition and demonstrations. The centre includes the Dick Galloway Museum, with displays of ancient and modern bows and an archery shop. The buildings were once part of the Royal Air Force Fighter Base, RAF Drem. Fighter planes from this base intercepted the first German bombing raid on Britain, which was heading for the Naval Dockyard at Rosyth.
