Achray Water

A short but substantial river which flows through the Pass of Achray in Stirling, connecting Loch Katrine in the west with the smaller Loch Achray to the east. Towards its eastern end it splits into two channels flowing around the sizeable Gardh Innis. It is 1¼ miles / 2 km in length and its level is controlled by a dam at the end of Loch Katrine.
