Borough Briggs

A football ground in Elgin (Moray), Borough Briggs is located to the east of the Moray Leisure Centre on the south bank of the River Lossie, behind the town centre. The ground opened in 1921 and has a capacity of 4927 spectators, of which 478 are seated. It is home to Elgin City Football Club, which formed as an amalgamation of the Elgin Rovers and Vale of Lossie teams in 1893. The ground was badly affected by flooding in 1997 and 2001, although defences have subsequently been improved.
