A service area on the east side the M74 motorway at Johnstonebridge in Dumfries and Galloway, 6 miles (10 km) north northwest of Lockerbie, Annandale Water Services is operated by RoadChef. Opening in 1995, the service area is located at Junction 16, with north-bound vehicles gaining access by passing under the motorway. The site takes its name from the adjacent small loch and includes fast food outlets and a Days Inn Motel.
