Scotstounhill Railway Station

Scotstounhill Railway Station (known in Gaelic as Cnoc Scotstoun) serves both the Argyle Line and the North Clyde Line, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) east northeast of Scotstoun and a half-mile (1 km) west northwest of Jordanhill in Glasgow City. This station opened in 1883 on the Glasgow, Yoker & Clydebank Railway and comprises two platforms connected by an overbridge. Now operated by ScotRail, Scotstounhill Railway Station is staffed part-time and was used by almost 425,000 passengers in 2017. It is preceded by Jordanhill Railway Station, 1¼ miles (2 km) to the east, and followed by Garscadden, a half-mile (1 km) to the west northwest.
