Parish of Kinellar Kinellar is a small parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 6 miles (10 km) south of Inverurie in Aberdeenshire and 9 miles (14 km) northwest of Aberdeen in Aberdeen City.It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 17.5 sq. km (6.7 sq. miles).
