Parish of Logie

Logie is a parish, which lies on the River Forth in Stirling Council Area, some 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Stirling and 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Dunblane in Stirling.

It is located in the old county of Stirlingshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 36.9 sq. km (14.2 sq. miles). Logie has Alloa, Alva and Dunblane & Lecropt as its neighbouring parishes. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
