Fiona MacDonald


1974 -

Curling champion. Born in Paisley, MacDonald lives with her family in Inverness. She was a member of the Curling Team which took the Gold Medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City (USA). Along with MacDonald, the team included Rhona Martin (b.1966), Janice Rankin (b.1972), Debbie Knox (b.1968) and Margaret Morton (b.1968).

MacDonald was World Junior Curling Champion in 1993. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List (2002).
