Edith Bowman


1975 -

Broadcaster. Born in Anstruther (Fife), Bowman read media and communication studies at Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh. While still at university she began working at local station Radio Forth. Moving to London she joined MTV in 1997, initially to present its news. She went on to work as a disc-jockey with her own show for Capital FM (2001-2), then as a presenter on Channel 4's breakfast show RI:SE (2002-3) and Colin and Edith from 2003 on BBC Radio One.

Television work includes Top of the Pops, the Glastonbury Festival (2004), the Live 8 charity event from Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh (2005) and T in the Park, all for the BBC.
