Calvin Harris

DJ, singer-songwriter and record producer. Born Adam Richard Wiles in Dumfries, Harris was educated at Dumfries High School and began recording electronic music in his bedroom in his early teens, while working as a shelf-stacker in a local supermarket. His debut studio album I Created Disco was released in 2007 but Harris gained a reputation internationally with the release of his third studio album 18 Months (2012) which found success in both the UK and US charts. He has had a string of hits both on his own and in conjunction with stars such as Dizzee Rascal and Rihanna. He was written songs for Kylie Minogue and Taylor Swift. Harris has headlined at the T in the Park festival in Scotland and founded his own record label (Fly Eye Records) in 2010.

By 2016, he was named the world's highest-earning DJ, and two years later he entered the Top-20 of the Sunday Times Rich List for UK musicians with a personal fortune estimated at £140 million. He is now based in Los Angeles (USA).
