Daniel (Dan) Wallace


1993 -

Swimming champion. Born in Edinburgh, Wallace was educated at Chirnside Primary School and swam with Duns Amateur Swimming Club, before his family moved to North Berwick, where he attended North Berwick High School, and then to Edinburgh where he trained at Warrender Swim Centre. He went on to study anthropology at the University of Florida, where he was able to receive some of the best swim-coaching in the world. Success came at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre during the Glasgow Commonwealth Games of 2014, where Wallace took a gold medal in the 400m Individual Medley, with silver medals in the 200m Individual Medley and the 200m Freestyle Relay.
