Footballer. Born in Bartonholm (North Ayrshire), Orr played for the local team Kilwinning Eglinton, before joining English team Glossop North End, then St. Mirren (Paisley), Newcastle United (1901-08), Liverpool (1908-11), Raith Rovers (Kirkcaldy; 1911-12) and finally South Shields (1912-13). He also played for the national team on four occasions. Orr died in Kilwinning.
