Lag Tower, aka Lagg Tower was the home of the Griersons of Lag, and is estimated to have been built in c. 1465, and other accounts are listed here ; however, in the Lag Charters, catalouged by (Sir) Philip James Hamilton-Grierson, 1913, I found an entry listed that showed documentation of Lag Tower and ForAlice being erect and fortified as early as 1444.
