I understand that Robert Finnie McEwen's parents were Isabella Finnie (b.2 May 1822-Kilmarnock,Ayrshire)and John McEwen (m.12 Jan 1860). He was (and I am) a descendant of William Finnie and Ann Boyd of Kilmarnock. I'm very proud to number him amongst my many Scottish ancestors/relations.
