Inchyra

Perth and Kinross

A location at the southern edge of the Sidlaw Hills, southeast Perth and Kinross, Inchyra estate lies to the north of the River Tay, 4 miles (6 km) east of Perth. Inchyra House was built c.1810 for Edinburgh lawyer John Anderson, its frontage resembling that of the Commercial Bank in Edinburgh's New Assembly Close. South-west of the house is a Bronze Age burial mound known as the Witch Knowe.
