A farm and a small roadside settlement in NW Aberdeenshire, Balquhindachy overlooks the Idoch Water 2¼ miles (3.5 km) east southeast of Turriff. An old farm steading lies next to a couple of houses, one modern. There was a mill here in the mid-19th C. There is another Balquhindachy 7 miles (11 km) to the southeast.
