An abandoned settlement in the remote north of the island of Islay in Argyll & Bute, Doodilmore lies on the right bank of the Doodilmore River, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) east of Gortantaoid Point at the mouth of Loch Gruinart. The footings of several buildings remain, along with walls and the evidence of an ancient rig-and-furrow cultivation system.
