A small hamlet of the southwest coast of the Trotternish peninsula of Skye, Highland Council Area, Tote (Gael: Tobhta) lies at the southern end of Loch Snizort Beag, 6 miles (10 km) northwest of Portree. Tote House is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the northwest, while Ben Tote rises to 113m (370 feet) a similar distance to the north. There is another Tote 8½ miles (14 km) to the northeast.
