Argyll and Bute

A linear settlement on the south coast of the island of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Imeraval lies on a minor road which extends northwest from Port Ellen along the northern shore of Port Imeraval and Kilnaughton Bay. Cairnsmore House and a pair of cottages on the north side of the road have been joined by a line of modern houses on the south side of the road, with views over the sea. The Port Ellen Maltings lie a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the east.
