A remote farmstead in Glen Nochty (NW Aberdeenshire), Aldachuie 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Strathdon. It is shown on William Roy's Map of 1750 as Wester Aldachy and Easter Aldachy, but the 19th C. farm buildings became the home to artist Peter Goodfellow, who was born in Middlesbrough in 1950, and the location of his Lost Gallery, established in 1994. Behind is the Hill of Aldachuie.
