A scattered farming settlement, Old Wick lies a half-mile (1 km) south of Wick in the Caithness district of Highland Council Area. The ruined remains of the Castle of Old Wick (alternatively known as the Old Man of Wick) lie to the south. This 14th-century tower is now under the stewardship of Historic Environment Scotland.
