Argyll and Bute

A small crofting township on the east coast of Iona in the Inner Hebrides, Sligneachlie a half-mile (0.8 km) southwest of the ferry terminal at Baile Mor. It represents the most southerly point on the island's rather limited road network. The Victoria and Albert Museum hold a print of the sea view here by Arabella L. Rankin (1871 - 1943) dating from c.1920.
