Situated to the west of the Black Cuillins an the west of Skye, the hamlet of Glenbrittle lies in Glen Brittle which provides access to the Cuillin for walkers and mountaineers. The Glen Brittle Hut, Glenbrittle House and a Mountain Rescue Post are all located here, while the Glenbrittle Youth Hostel lies a half-mile (1 km) to the north.
