A settlement lying along a dead-end road which extends north from the A970 to the north of the Olna Firth in the N of the Shetland Mainland, Mulla is usually considered to form part of the village of Voe. The Point of Mulla is located a half-mile (0.8 km) to the west, while to Clubb of Mulla rises to the northwest.
