Edderton


Highland

A hamlet in a parish of the same name in Easter Ross, Highland Council Area, Edderton lies on the south shore of the Dornoch Firth, 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Tain. Edderton once had a station on the Highland Line, but this closed in 1960 and is now a private house. Nearby are the Balblair Distillery and Edderton Hill which rises to a height of 328 metres (1000 feet).
