A small crofting community on the east coast of the Trotternish Peninsula in Skye, Elishader (also Ellishader, Ellishadder; Gael: Ealaiseadar) is situated to the north of Loch Mealt, 1½ miles (2.5 km) southeast of Staffin. Staffin Museum is located here, together with a viewpoint for Kilt Rock, with a spectacular waterfall tumbling down the cliffs in the foreground.
