A location deep within the Eskdalemuir Forest, Raeburnhead comprises a pair of cottages at the junction of the Rae Burn and South Grain Pike, 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Eskdalemuir. There is another Raeburnhead 19 miles (31 km) to the south.
