Baldinnie

Fife

The old fermetoun hamlet of Baldinnie in the parish of Ceres, E Fife, lies to the east of the village of Ceres at a road junction on the B940 road linking Largoward with Cupar which is 4 miles (6 km) to the northwest. The farms of Lower Baldinnie, Over Baldinnie and Percy Baldinnie occupy land to the north and east. A plaque on a stone at Callange, to the northwest of Baldinnie, commemorates the landing site of a balloon flight made the Italian pioneer Vincenzo Lunardi (1759 - 1806).
