A hamlet situated to the south of the Biel Water, Pitcox lies 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Stenton and 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Dunbar in East Lothian. Findlay's Spring has provided mineral water since 1835 and a modern bottling plant is located in Pitcox. The company is now a subsidiary of A.G. Barr Plc.
