Dumfries and Galloway

A location in Glenesslin, Dumfries and Galloway, Sundaywell lies on the Glenesslin Burn, a tributary of the Cairn Water, 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Dumfries. There are the remains of a 16th-century tower in the farmhouse bearing the date 1651 and the initials of James Kirkoe and his wife Susan Walsh of Colliston.
