Dumfries and Galloway

A hamlet of Nithsdale in Dumfries and Galloway, Park lies 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Closeburn. It was built to serve the nearby limeworks which were, during the 18th and 19th centuries, the largest in Dumfries and Galloway. A half-mile (1 km) to the north lies Closeburn Castle.
