A location in the Scottish Borders, Blackadder lies on the right bank of the Blackadder Water, 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Allanton. It comprises the farms of Blackadder West, Blackadder Mains, Blackadder Mount and Blackadder Bank. Botanist and plant-hunter Robert Fortune (1830-80) is said to have been born here.
