East Voe

East Voe represents a public housing development which forms an eastern section of Scalloway and takes its name from the East Voe of Scalloway, on the west coast of the Shetland Mainland, which it overlooks. Constructed in two phases (2001 and 2009), for Hjaltland Housing Association, the development consists of 42 colourful Norwegian-style houses and flats designed by PJP Architects and built by DITT of Lerwick. The houses comprise 3, 4 and 5-bedroom units.
