An abandoned settlement on the western shore of the Loch of Snarravoe is the SW of Unst (Shetland), Snarravoe is located a half-mile (1 km) north of Belmont. The footings of around ten buildings are still visible, along with field boundaries. The inlet of Snarra Voe lies to the west, and Loch and Voe are connected by the Burn of Snarravoe.
