A location in Central Perth & Kinross, Benchil is situated on the right bank of the River Tay, a half-mile (1 km) north northeast of Luncarty. The Benchil Burn flows into the Ordie Burn to the west, and there are farms at Over Benchil, East Nether Benchil and West Nether Benchil.
